Selected Works

A collection of photographic works, mordançage experiments, and mixed-media installations exhibited in galleries, festivals, and alternative spaces.

Beneath the Surface

2025 · Mordançage on silver gelatin

Beneath the Surface installation
Mordançage photographs of Easton Hansakäytävä, a shopping mall in eastern Helsinki serving diverse communities and facing demolition. The prints enact on the photographic surface what economic logic is doing to the building — controlled destruction applied to a place already under threat.

Exhibitions:
Pimiö 25, Galleria West, September 2025
Art for All Festival — “Success & Glory”, Easton Hansakäytävä, August 2025

Entangled Shadows: Mordançage at the Edge of Coherence

2025 · Mordançage and lith printing on silver gelatin

Entangled Shadows installation at ROTLICHT Festival
Photographs of superconducting quantum hardware transformed through mordançage and lith printing — coherence giving way to collapse, controlled conditions producing uncontrollable results. The photograph itself becomes unstable.

Exhibitions:
ROTLICHT Festival — “Life After Extinction?”, Vienna, November 2025

Quantum Mordançage Zine

2025 · Artist publication

Quantum Mordançage Zine
Risograph publication mapping the structural connections between quantum physics and analogue photography. Edition of 15, hand-folded, printed in medium blue and fluorescent pink.

Distribution: Exhibitions, art swaps, independent bookstores. First edition June 2025.

Intersection of Thoughts

2025 · Lith Print with Infectious Development

Intersection of Thoughts

A photographic interpretation of a sculptural installation encountered in Salt Lake City, transformed through lith printing and infectious development techniques. The directional signs—“LESS IS MORE,” “HIGH ROAD,” overlaying “YOU ARE HERE”—become a meditation on choice and presence. The lith process amplifies the philosophical tension inherent in the original work, using infectious development to push contrast and create the distinctive warm blacks that emphasize the duality between clarity and confusion in navigating life's intersections.

Exhibition: “Lost and Found” group exhibition, Dark Peak Festival, UK. February 2025.

About the Work

My photographic practice uses mordançage, lith printing, and sabattier to physically transform the photographic surface — dissolving, lifting, and resettling the emulsion to make visible what stable images conceal. The work engages with spaces and systems under pressure: consumer architecture facing demolition, quantum states lasting microseconds, photographic processes increasingly rare in a digital world.
